Kent Murdock is back! Here is your favorite news-photographer again this time in a case mixed up with a mysterious small round package, a left-handed man, a hot jazz collection, blackmail, murder, and a girl with a silver streak in her hair. It all began at Pat Canning's wedding. Murdock had been surprised when she'd asked him to take the pictures, so publicly camera-shy was her entire family. But surprise was hardly the word for it when he saw what was in the upstairs closet where he'd been told to store his camera equipment.
As a good photographer, he took some quick flash shots. That put him on spot No. 1. As a friend of Pat's he hadn't wanted to call Lieutenant Bacon until after the ceremony. That put him on a spot with the police as well as with the murderer.
