Numerical analysis

There exists a need for a textbook on elementary numerical analysis, to introduce the subject at the outset of the college undergraduate curriculum. Volume 1 provides an elementary and sound introduction for students to some of the most important methods of obtaining numerical solutions of known accuracy to a wide variety of problems. It is intended for first year numerical analysis at the college level. Volume 2 contains material for the more advanced student and is suitable for use in the second year of numerical analysis at the undergraduate level.
