This book was first published in 1983 as a practitioners' guide to the Commercial Court. In two years it has established itself as a major work in a complex field. It is an indication of the dynamic nature of the Court that a second edition is needed within three years. In its second edition - The Practive and Procedure of the Commercial Court follows the same step by step, constructive approach to practising in this rapidly-evolving area of law.

The original work has been revised to take account of the many changes in procedure consequent on appeals from arbitration awards under the Arbitration Act 1979; the Report of the Commercial Court Committee Working Party and consolidation of the practice relating to Mareva injunctions - thus building on the in-depth analysis of the first edition.
