Canadian Spelling Dictionary

It is designed for writers of all ages over 7. To check the spelling of a word you refer to a double-spread Index page, select one of 15 vowel sounds and what you believe to be the first letter, and then go to the specified page. You will find words up to 60 times as fast as in a dictionary of similar size, even though you have only a vague idea of how to spell them.
