The forger Thomas Wise’s autograph manuscript of the preface, and three of his letters to his partner in crime Buxton Forman concerning essays in the collection (formerly laid in; published in N. Barker and J. Collins, A sequel to An enquiry into the nature of certain nineteenth century pamphlets; the forgeries of H. Buxton Forman & T. J. Wise re-examined. London, 1983), are catalogued separately (see Bib#s 4103558-60/Fr#s 861-64 in this collection).
