The Shanghai project

Collaborative student work from the departments of architecture of the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich and Tongji University during 2000-2001. The project was to study the Lilong dwelling houses in Shanghai, China, and determine whether and how to preserve the existing structures while integrating them into new developments.
