God and the ways of knowing

A subtle and penetrating interpretation of the ways by which man comes to the knowledge of God -- each form of knowledge carrying him both higher and deeper. The great merit of this work is its comprehensiveness. If we are to talk about ways of knowing God, we have first of all to talk about the techniques, philosophical, religious, revealed and mystic, of knowing God.
