Away goes Sally

The first in a series, about a young orphan named Sally and her family's move from Massachusetts to Maine in the late 18th century. The story follows the family's adventurous winter journey. Sally lives with her aunts and uncles on a Massachusetts farm. When they decide to move to Maine for new opportunities, one aunt refuses to leave her home. Uncle Joseph builds a house on runners so she can travel with them, leading to an adventurous journey with challenges like a blizzard and meeting interesting people.
