Trail to Sedalia

When Jed Masters rides into Chrystal City, he finds a mystery surrounding the death of his friend which he is determined to solve. This results in him taking over as trail boss for a herd made up by small ranchers who are dependent on its successful sale in Sedalia. Troubles beset him on the trail, and he finally sees a connection with an unexpected quarter. Proving this is another matter, and how Jed does this in the face of false accusations make the trail to Sedalia an exciting ride.
