She goes to his estate to ask him to marry her so she won't be forced to marry creepy guy arranged by her creepier foster father. Allessandro and Katie were briefly sorta step-cousins when his dad married her foster father's sister. She runs a "sauce making" company out of her foster family's kitchen.

I thought i read this, but in that book they were briefly living together as unrelated step-siblings. And he was mean to her ftom the start because her mom martied his dad, her mom marries a lot of rich men. This book, they never actually lived together. She was a foster child. Her sauces were fruit inspired. Like apricot.
