Editor Yasuo Furuya and four other eminent Japanese theologians - Akio Dohi, Toshio Sato, Seiichi Yagi, and Masaya Odagaki - clarify the tumultuous history of Japanese Christianity and describe the context, methodology, and goals shaping Japanese theology today.
