Innovation, investment and the diffusion of technology in Europe

The papers in this volume examine the role of German foreign investment in the European growth process. The implications for the German economy are addressed, as are the determinants of outflows, and the effects of foreign investment in host countries. The editors draw conclusions for future economic development in the European Union.
