1888, Frederick Layton and his world

For over one hundred years the Layton Collection of the Milwaukee Art Museum has been a part of the public art landscape in Milwaukee, portraying American and European visual culture first throught the lens of the Victorian collector and later through reinterpretations up to the present day.
